RGR420EX is one of the premier models from the RG Tremolo series. This line offers budget-friendly metal-oriented guitars with locking tremolo bridges and double-cut bodies. Usually, bodies are made of basswood, but this one rocks a mahogany body with maple top. It also comes with three cool paint job options, of which all three are finished in high gloss. Top is carved and has no binding. Also, there is no pickguard on this model. Bridge section is equipped with a regular Edge tremolo. It is paired with a locking nut on the fingerboard. Pickups are active and placed in H/H configuration. Controls unit is equipped with a standard set of master volume and master tone knobs. Maple neck sports Wizard contour in the back and 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
