S is, together with the RG, the most successful and most important line of electric guitars Ibanez has ever made. It`s been around for around three decades and it`s been sold in millions. At 2017 NAMM several (mostly Prestige class) S models were introduced, including this beauty. S6570SK comes in with a solid, arched body (like all S models do), bolt-on neck, 24-fret fingerboard (25-1/2" scale) and passive electronics. The body is made of mahogany base and silky oak top. five-piece maple/walnut neck is attached to it via recessed bolt-on joint. Marbled rosewood fingerboard (with 1.69" locking nut, 16" radius and Prestige class frets) completes the chassis. S6570SK also features Lo-Pro Edge tremolo bridge, DiMarzio pickups and locking Gotoh tuners.
