Standard S series models compete in the lower intermediate, intermediate and upper intermediate segments of the market with great success. They`ve been among the most popular Soloist/Superstrat shaped guitars for over 25 years now. This kind of longevity is a result of the timeless S series design, constant construction and materials improvement and amazing tonal and stylistic range these axes cover. For 2014, Ibanez is introducing many new models into the standard S series lineup and S671QM is one of them. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany back and quilted maple top. 25-1/2" scale, bolted neck, passive electronics and 24-fret fingerboard are among the expected features in the S series. On the top, hardtail bridge with six adjustable saddles and string-through construction replaces the standard Edge tremolo system to attract players who might be thrown off by a locking tremolo bridge. Infinity pickups installed in the front are installed in the classic H/S/H configuration. Maple neck is made with the Wizard contour in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
