SIX series is a part of the Iron Label range, dedicated to the "metallized" S series axes. Six, seven and eight string models make up the series` roster. Passive pickups, locking bridges, black hardware and classic S series bodies are some of the most notable features. SIX6DFM is a six-stringed guitar with 25-1/2" scale, 24-fret fingerboard and passive DiMarzio pickups. The body is made of mahogany base and flamed maple top, while the neck is made of three pieces of maple and bubinga. On top of the neck, Ibanez installs an ebony fingerboard with side dot inlays and locking nut. Pickups are DiMarzio`s Fusion Edge passive/ceramic humbuckers. They offer a thick, strong tone, with bucket-loads of sustain. Edge Zero II bridge and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
