Modena Classic is one of four Modena guitars currently available from Italia. This one comes with a set of three humbucker pickups installed on the top of the body. In fact, these are minibuckers and feature active electronics. Controls unit installed with them is standard for this series, as is the five-position blade switch. Top is also equipped with elegant binding around the edges and with a big white pickguard. Bridge section on Modena Classic made up of three parts. In the front, there`s a tune-o-matic bridge. Behind it, Italia installs the Bigsby vibrato bar and trapezoid tailpiece. Body beneath the bridge is solid, double-cut and made of agathis. It is paired with a bolt-on maple neck with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
