Chris Broderick is one of the newly introduced signature artists in Jackson family and his series has been launched at the NAMM 2013. Currently, it has two models, one with six and one wit seven strings. Both of them are Chris`s own take on the legendary Soloist design. The result is the shapely body with offset contours and carved top. Body of Chris Broderick Soloist 7 is solid, double-cut and made of mahogany back with quilted maple top, which is a pretty frequent combo with metal axes. Edges of the body are decorated with natural binding and it`s finished in high gloss. Jackson offers a modest palette of colors with Black, White, Transparent Black and Transparent Red as the only options. All are finished in gloss. Bridge section is equipped with a recessed Floyd Rose bridge. It`s plated in black and matched with a locking nut on the fingerboard. DiMarzio supplies custom-made passive pickups, designed by Chris, himself. Master volume, master tone, killswitch and a three-way toggle pickup selector comprise the controls unit. Maple neck on this model features a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on it`s top. Add the set of seven Planet Waves Auto-Trim tuners and 25-1/2" scale and Chris Broderick 7 is a complete axe.
