DXMG is a budget-friendly variant of the standard MG Dinky model. The biggest difference between these two models lies in the body wood choice. For the regular Dinky, Jackson uses high grade alder, while the DXMG has to settle for the basswood. Basswood body on this model is solid, double-cut and flat on top. It features a bolt-on neck joint. Pickups on this model are EMG 81 in the bridge and 85 in the neck. They feature master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch. Licensed Floyd Rose bridge is installed behind the pickups on this DXMG Dinky. It is paired with a locking string nut on the fingerboard. Bolted neck is made of maple. Fingerboard on it`s top is equipped with 24 frets with shark fin inlays.
