JTX is one of rare and special models in the Jackson catalog. it has vintage styling and Telecaster-like body in combination with modern hardware appointments. It comes with a solid, single-cut body made of alder. Top is flat and equipped with an elegant pickguard made in Stratocaster style. Purple Burst is the only color option available for this odd six-stringer. Construction-wise, body of this model features contoured back, bolt-on neck joint and deep cutaway. Uncharacteristically for Telecaster-shaped guitars, this one has Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge. In it`s front, Jackson installed a pair of their own pickups. Bridge position features a humbucker, while the neck position has a slanted single-coil pickup. Bolted maple neck is topped with a 24-fret maple fingerboard.

I own this guitar and It has been one of the finest guitars I have ever owned and played. Versitile in tone, great neck, light enough to gig all night with, stays in tune, etc. If your super picky about guitars then it probably won't meet your demands, but if your open minded and don't have to own what is percieved to be the best...
