KE7 is the only seven-string Kelly of five models, which comprise this series` current lineup. It represents Jackson`s effort to bring the popular seven-string construction to players who are not in the position to pay big bucks for an extended-range guitar. Besides the seventh string, this Kelly is pretty much a standard one. It comes with a solid, single-cut body made of alder. KE7 comes only in stealthy black color with black hardware and glossy finish. Construction-wise, this model features bolted neck, 25-1/2" scale and top-load bridge. Bridge is a licensed Floyd Rose with Duncan Designed humbuckers in the front. Neck on this model is made of maple. It features the standard contour in the back and a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood on top.
