KVX10 King V is the basic King V model in Jackson Guitars catalog. It belongs to the X series, which represents Jackson in the budget-friendly section of the market. This one features a solid and classic King V body made of basswood. Basswood is used by Jackson as a substitute for the alder, which is Jackson`s primary tonewood. Basswood body of this six-string King V is topped with a Jackson-made licensed Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. Bridge is equipped with chrome plating and a locking nut on the fingerboard. In front of the bridge, Jackson installs a pair of Duncan Designed humbuckers. Standard HB-103B bridge pickup/HB-102N neck pickup combo is used for this King V. Maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
