Brown Burst
Scott Ian JJ4 is one of three JJ models in Scott`s signature series. These models resemble the double-cut Les Pauls from Gibson, but feature completely different tone, feel and playability. Scott`s known as one of the most ferocious rippers on the thrash metal scene and his models reflect that. JJ4 features a solid, double-cut body made of mahogany back and quilt maple top. It comes with only one color scheme, it`s Brown Burst with high gloss finish. Bridge section on this model is a standard one, it features a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. Seymour Duncan supplies a pair of open-coil humbuckers for this models. El Diablo is in the bridge and '59 in the neck. Bolted maple neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
