SLATFXMG 3-8 Soloist is one of several eight-strings Jackson introduced recently into the famed X series. It is a solid and double-cut Soloist guitar with active electronics, carved top and Jackson hardware.
Entire body of this eight-string Soloist is made of mahogany (including the carved top), and it`s paired with a three-piece through-body maple neck. Rosewood fingerboard with white binding, triangle inlays and 24 jumbo-sized frets is found on top of the neck.
Electronics and hardware department of this juggernaut is equipped with Jackson and EMG features. Eight-saddled string-through bridge and a pair of EMG 808 humbuckers (master volume, master tone, 3-way toggle switch comprise the controls) are found on the carved top.
