USA select is an upper-class tier of models in Jackson catalog. It is right up there with the best. For 2013 NAMM show Jackson prepared four novelties for this line. All four feature extended range, active pickups, long scales and modern design. B7MG has seven-string construction and active electronics. Also, it features 27" scale and modern take on the soloist shape. It`s body is made of alder and features beveled edges. There is no top wood cover, even though the body is carved on the top. Back side of the body is also contoured. There are four color schemes available for this axe: Walnut Stain, Au Natural, Satin Black, and Satin Grey. They all come with satin finish. Bridge section is a simple one, it features a Jackson hardtail bridge with string-through-body construction and seven adjustable saddles. Pickups are supplied by EMG. In the bridge, there`s a classic 81 in seven-string variant and the neck position features mighty 707 humbucker. Neck is made of maple and it is bolted to the body. Fingerboard is made of ebony and it features 24 jumbo-sized frets. Jackson installs a a set of seven Jackson-branded Gotoh tuners.
