Mick Thompson is largely to blame (or thank) for that sheer, unbridled aggression and intensity Slipknot`s built its success upon. After years of Fender affiliation, Mick`s now a Jackson Guitars signature artist. His debut model is a USA class model based on the classic Soloist concept. USA Signature Mick Thompson Soloist is a flat-top six-stringer with heavily down-tuned strings, locked Floyd Rose-style bridge, reversed headstock, and 25.5" scale. Black and Arctic White options are available, both sporting $5,034.00 price tag. Other notable features include mahogany body wings, through-body maple neck, 24-fret ebony fingerboard, Mick`s own signature Seymour Duncan Blackout pickups, and Jackson tuners.
