Metallic Gold comes with a set of Jarrell pickups, as opposed to the vast majority of the models which feature Seymour Duncans. Nevertheless, these pickups receive the same treatment as pickups on other models of the JZS-1 series. They have a standard set of master tone and split volume knobs. Pickup switch is a three-way toggle. In addition to that, each pickup sports a coil-splitting mini-switch. The body is solid, equipped with a double cutaway and it`s made of mahogany back and carved maple top. The bridge is a combination of a tune-o-matic and a stoptail bar. Hard maple neck is equipped with a set-in joint and topped with a rosewood fingerboard. Set of 22 frets, wing position inlays and a black TUSQ nut wraps the fingerboard.
