The mighty DC727 is a beefed up version of the classic DC127 model. It too is a stripped down shred machine, with added low B string for even broader scope and range. Like 127, 727 can be customized in many, many ways. Some of them include fancy tops, abalone and pearl inlays, gold-plated hardware, etc.
The standard DC727 sports a flat double-cut body, made of alder wings and maple neck. Model on the picture rocks a quilt maple top with matching headstock. All-maple neck is the default option, though players can pick their own favorite combo from the offered tonewoods. Ebony fingerboards are standard, featuring medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, 14" radii and 1.69" string nuts. DC26 extended range humbuckers make up the default pickups combo. Though pictured with a Floyd Rose bridge and locking nut, string-through TOM bridge is the standard bridge option. Kiesel tuners are featured on all 727 variants.
