JTV series in Line 6 catalog deals with ultra modern guitars with advanced electronics. Variax Digital Interface software is combined with special control knobs and switches on JTV series models to enable players to model the tone to their own taste. One of the models produced under the JTV series banner is JTV-59, a single-cut model which combines this super modern technology with vintage-styled looks. It comes as a Les Paul-like single-cut guitar with body made of mahogany base and flame maple top. Bridge section features a wrap-around bridge with chrome plating. Pair of active Alnico humbuckers is featured in it`s front. Master volume and tone controls are accompanied by a three-way toggle pickup switch. Set mahogany neck has '59 contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
