1960s Guitars Electric Guitars by Michael Kelly
1967 is one of four main models of the 1960s series. The entire lineup was inspired by classic Strat and Superstrat concepts of the past. While based on vintage design, all models feature modern hardware and electronics (especially Michael Kelly-developed electronics and wiring).
1967 is available in two color options - Aged Cherryburst and Tobaccoburst. Both feature flame maple binding, gloss finish, and gold-plated hardware. Core construction features include a swamp ash body (natural back, tummy cut, MK Open Back backplate), quilt maple top (two-piece top, classic Strat-like pickguard), maple neck (Modern C profile, bolt-on joint), and 22-fret fingerboard (maple on Tobaccoburst, rosewood on Aged Cherryburst).
Major hardware and electronics appointments include a Michael Kelly Twin-Edge tremolo, locking Grover tuners, and combined Seymour Duncan//Rockfield pickups.
