Mitchell`s MD300 is a lower intermediate class guitar, made for all rock, hard rock, fusion and metal players out there. Superb build quality, rock-solid tone and modern design are its strongest points. MD300`s body is solid, double-cut and has a carved top. It is made entirely of American basswood and sports super deep cutaways. Quilt maple tops, featured on slightly more expensive MD400, are not available for the 300 tier models. The neck made of maple and, instead of a set-in joint (400 tier feature), has a standard bolt-on joint. It features the shallow C profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Full-sized rail humbucker in the bridge and mini-rail humbucker in the neck deliver the characteristic MD tone. String-thru TOM bridge and locking die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
