Mitchell`s MS models were inspired by the legendary Les Paul, the ultimate rock guitar. Unlike the Gibson`s high-end Les Pauls, Mitchell`s MS models cater to beginners, working musicians and semi-professionals, being more comparable to Epiphone LPs. MS400 is the current flagship of the MS range. It is a lower intermediate class single-cut axe, with set-in neck, 22-fret fingerboard, fixed bridge and passive electronics. 400`s body is made of mahogany (Honeyburst option rocks quilt maple top) and bound in flamed maple binding. The neck is made of mahogany, as well. It sports the shallow C profile int he back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Alnico V humbuckers with zebra coils promise loads of sustain and a warm, thick tone. String-thru TOM bridge and locking tuners complete the specs list.
