The new Cutlass RS is part of the Modern Classics trio made by Musc Man. The trio consists of one StringRay model (H/H) and two Cutlass models (H/S/S and S/S/S). All three models sport Music Man`s own pickups (passive, noiseless, with simple controls), combined Music Man/Schaller hardware, 25-1/2" scales, 22-fret fingerboards, and classic pickguards. Color palettes are uniform, with all three models having Firemist Silver, Ivory White, Charcoal Frost, Vintage Sunburst, Coral Red, and Vintage Turquoise options (Cutlass RS is the only one without the Stealth Black option). Other notable features include a solid alder body, roasted maple neck, roasted maple fingerboard (material actually depends on the color option), non-locking Music Man tremolo bridge, and locking Schaller tuners.
