Powder Coat Alumicaster is a model from the Normandy`s Alumicaster series of electric guitars. It is one of three active series and it`s models are based on the classic Telecaster design. Powder Coat Alumicaster is one of four models in the current lineup of the series and it is a pretty much standard one. Technically and sonically, it is the same as other Alumicaster models, and the only major difference is that this one is finished in powder coat. It`s single-cut body is made of aluminum, while the neck is made of maple. Neck is attached to the body with a bolt-on joint and it is topped with a 22-fret maple fingerboard. Modern variant of the classic Tele bridge on this model is fronted with a humbucker and single-coil pickup.
