Had this guitar 4 3 weeks. Love the color (Root Beer). Very visually impressive guitar. Like the string lock system. Very easy to use compared to my previous Floyd systems. Guitar sounds great in clean mode. noticed a lack of sustain when compared to my very inexpensive Cort X-11 H-SH guitar. Love the weight since I play 4 hrs standing up with 2 20 minute breaks. The guitar has a very stable tunning and does not stray to far from when using the whammy bar. The cons: This guitar for this price ($ 1,700 I paid 1,200 for mine) should have less noisy pickups. Comapred to the Cort X-11 guitar and the PRS model, this guitar is in need of different pickups. I play in a corporate wedding band where silence between songs is precious. Through the clean channel I can easily get warm Jazzy sounds and crispy clean strat sounds ala Michael jackson "Billie Jean" solo. The TB11 p/u at the bridge is not as aggressive as the seymour Duncan JB. I put a sd mini humbucker at the neck and I'm fairily pleased with it. Will keep playing it until I'm happy. I just hate having to mod on a brand new sinstrument that is fairly pricey when compared top other guitars costing half the price. I also have an Ibanez s540 (Saber) and that has a great versailte tone as well, but the knife of tremolo system is broken and out of comission . That guitar is light as well. in synthesis, it appears that the df624 manufacturers has some work to do in improving this otherwise amazibg guitar. I would give it a 7.5 out of 10
