513 Maple Top is a special model from the Solid Body series in PRS catalog. It brings a completely new setup of electronics, controls and pickups. At first look, it seems as though the pickups combo is H/S/H, but it really consists of five single coil pickups. Two are installed in bridge position, one in the middle and two in the neck position. Master volume and master tone knobs are accompanied by two blade switches. One is a regular five-position switch, while the other is a three-position switch. This system is called 513 for it`s five pickups and 13 tone options. Regular double-cut body is made of mahogany back and flame maple top. Tremolo bridge is featured in the bridge position. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
