Korina is a tonewood very similar to mahogany in terms of tone. Grain and structure are a bit different, but the tone is very similar. There are black and white types of korina and PRS KL models use the white variation. It gives almost the same tone as mahogany, but it adds a bit more mids to the mix. It feels and sounds best when left in natural color with just a thin coat of lacquer for protection. KL 380 Limited comes with a solid, double-cut body made completely of korina. It is featured in natural color. On it`s top, PRS installs a nickel-plated trem bridge. Three P-90 pickups are featured in the front. Set in korina neck has wide fat contour in the back and 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top.
