Paul Reed Smith Limited Edition 1957/2008 Custom 24
Special Edition Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
Special Edition Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
Limited Edition 1957/2008 models were introduced back in 1957 and they`re PRS way to pay due tribute to late 1950s humbucking pickups. Paul Reed Smith has stated about the pickups, which are the stars of 1957/2008 models, that they`re wound by the same machines which made pickups for Fender and Gibson in 1950s and 1960s. Further, the magnets on these PRS models are made of the same materials, as the ones form 1950s and '60s. Limited Edition 1957/2008 Custom 24 has two of them and they come with master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Bridge behind the pickups is a one-piece wrap around bridge. Solid, double-cut mahogany body is topped with a flamed maple top and paired with a set in mahogany neck. 24-fret fingerboard is made of dalbergia.
