Limited Edition 1957/2008 Custom SC 245 is one of the most exclusive guitars on the market. It was launched a few years ago and made only in 250 copies. It had "no options" policy, which excluded the possibility of further customization. Nevertheless, PRS really put their best on the line with this model. The most important feature on this model is it`s pickups department. This solid-bodied single-cut had pickups made by the same machines which made pickups for Fender and Gibson back in 1960s. Wires are the same, as is the material for the magnets. Body of this model is made of mahogany back and quilted maple top. Wrap around bridge is featured behind the pickups. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
