Paul Reed Smith is a brand with great reputation both among the players and other manufacturers. For less than 30 years in business, PRS Guitars have gained millions of followers around the world and can boast one of the most impressive signature lines in the industry. For 2013 and the winter NAMM Show PRS Guitars introduce some of the finest novelties seen this January. The first and the most important update is the model named Paul`s Guitar. It is the production variant of Paul`s own Private Stock model. It is built precisely to his specs and features only the finest materials and appointments available to commercial production segment. Double-cut body is made of lightweight mahogany back with flamed maple top. Top is arched and finished in high gloss. Bridge section features a PRS stoptail bar made of aluminum and equipped with brass inserts. Pickups used for this one are PRS 408 Treble and 408 Bass. They are narrower than standard buckers and feature master tone, master volume, pair of mini-switches and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Set mahogany neck features Pattern contour and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard. PRS tuners and 25" scale are also featured on this model.
