Solid Body Electric Guitars by Paul Reed Smith
SC250 Quilted Maple (Wide Fat Neck) is one of several single-cut models from the Solid Body series. Even though they`re based on Gibson`s Les Paul, SC models from PRS are stylized in different manner and offer a characteristic PRS tone. SC 250 Quilt Maple comes with a standard mahogany body with quilt maple top. Top is carved, bound in classic creme binding and finished in gloss. The rest of the body and the back of the neck are also finished in gloss. PRS has selected gold-plated hardware for this one. One-piece wrap around bridge is plated in gold and fronted by a pair of open-coil PRS humbuckers. Wide fat neck on this single-cut is made of mahogany and it`s topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.
