For 2015, it is receiving a special 30th Anniversary treatment and, voila, enter the SE 30th Anniversary Custom 24. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of mahogany base and a figured maple veneer on top. Top i s flat with beveled edges, which helps propel the tone with more power and bite. Pickups on it`s top are PRS SE HFS Treble in the bridge and SE Vintage Bass in the neck position. Master volume, master tone with push/pull switch and a three-position blade switch comprise the controls unit. Maple is used for the neck, instead of the standard mahogany. The neck comes with a wide thin profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. Standard 25" scale, locking tuners on the headstock and special 30th anniversary decorations wrap up the specs list of this exclusive, yet affordable SE Custom 24 axe.
