SE series is the opening line of the PRS catalog and it features two distinct tiers - Custom and Standard. Custom is the more expensive one, featuring price tags around $750 mark. The extra bucks bring figured maple tops, Bird inlays and several other minor perks.
SE Custom 24 7-String is the only extended range model in the current series lineup. It is based on the regular six-stringed Custom 24 and it also features the standard 25" scale. Core construction features include a solid mahogany body base, figured maple top (two-piece, beveled contour), maple neck (wide thin profile, glued to the body) and rosewood fingerboard (24 frets, Bird inlays, 25" scale). Black and Black Cherry options are available.
Major hardware and electronics options include a plate-style hardtail bridge, PRS Designed tuners and PRS SE HFS/Vintage Bass pickups.
