Gigmaster 40 is one of the models with which Peerless celebrates 40 years in business. This model comes with a traditionally shaped archtop body with a cutaway. It is made entirely of maple and finished in glossy white paint. Top features a mixture of black, ivoroid and abalone binding. It is carved with a pair of "f" holes, also bound in ivory. In the bridge section Gigmaster 40 features rosewood base with tune-o-matic top in combination with a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. A pair of T.V. Jones active humbuckers is controlled through three volume knobs, master tone and a three-way toggle switch. Maple neck features a set-in joint and it`s topped with ebony fingerboard. 20 frets, mother-of-pearl custom inlay at the 12th fret and 1.69" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard.
