Charger 290 is one of the models from Reverend which pay tribute to the Telecaster. This model comes with a very specific mixture of modern and vintage features. Starting with a flat single-cutaway body made of korina, Charger 290 features creme binding and vintage plastic pickguard, but there are no top wood covers. Pickups on this model are made by Reverend and come in S/S configuration. These P-90s are controlled through master volume, master tone, bass contour and three-position blade switch. Tune-o-matic bridge and stoptail bar are plated in chrome. Neck on this model is made of maple and it comes with a medium oval contour. This bolted neck is topped with either a rosewood or maple fingerboard. Both feature 22 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays and 1-21/32" wide graphite nut.
