Descent models are the perfect choice for players who play in low tuning but do not want to switch to a seven or eight-string model. Both currently available models (RA and HC90) feature almost baritone 26-3/4" scales (27" is the shortest "true baritone" scale). Descent RA features several distinctions from from its HC90 sibling. The most obvious one is the choice of color options (RA comes in Midnight Black and Coffee Burst). Also, electronics and hardware departments feature significant changes. Core construction features of this juggernaut include a solid korina body, flame maple top (on the Coffee Burst variant), maple neck (six-bolt joint) and 22-fret fingerboard (dot inlays, medium jumbo frets, 1.69" nut). Main hardware and electronics appointments include a two-piece hardtail bridge, locking tuners and Railhammer humbuckers.
