Modern Vintage series of the Gladiator Guitars is a line dedicated to the players who like a bit of the vintage vibe on their electric guitars, but still want to be able to play modern styles and genres of rock and hard rock. Basic model of this series is the GL-011, the only model in current lineup to feature the old-fashioned Strat body. It is a solid-bodied guitar with bolt-on construction, vintage design and a vintage tone. The flat-top basswood body/bolt-on maple neck combination is pretty much the standard for the entire series, with the set of three passive single-coils with white plastic covers making the difference in tone. Maple neck is fit with a series standard contour in the back and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
