As opposed to the majority of Schecter`s series and ranges which are dedicated to the production of guitars with either passive, or active electronics, Banshee series offers both options to the potential players. Another unique Banshee feature is the design of it`s models which was inspired by the classic 1980s Superstrat and Soloist models. Simple design and construction, along with super powerful pickups is the formula of the Banshee series. All that is spiced up with Schecter`s edgy styling and provocative choice of color schemes. Banshee 7 Passive is one of twelve novelties for 2014. It comes with a solid and double-cut body made of alder back and flamed maple top (top is made of two matching pieces of wood). It is bound in natural binding. Crimson Red Burst and Trans Black Burst are the only color options offered at this moment. Both are finished in gloss and fit with black chrome hardware. Seymour Duncan pickups are found on every passive Banshee and this is no exception. Nazgul is in the bridge, while the Sentient is in the neck position. They`re controlled through a master volume, master tone and a three-position blade switch. Maple and walnut neck rocks the series standard ultra thin C contour in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on the top.
