Banshee, though a fairly young and recent range in Schecter catalog, is a very important part of the electric guitar lineup. For the 2015 NAMM, Banshee series is being reinforced with the Elite section. Kicking off the Elite lineup, Banshee Elite 6 displays a very serious demeanor as well as superb set of features. Swamp ash body has the familiar Banshee curve and is topped with an elegant flamed maple cap. Currently, only the Gloss Natural (GNAT) color scheme with multi-ply maple/black binding around the top and black hardware is available. Hipshot hardtail bridge with six saddles and string-through construction keeps this six-stringed demon in perfect tune. The pride and the joy of the Banshee Elite series is found in front of it, in shape of two full-sized Supercharger humbuckers. These passive monsters are hand-wound in Schecter Custom Shop, and have big pole pieces. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch give a super wide array of both the clean and distorted tones. Multi-ply maple/walnut neck rocks the super thin C profile in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on the top. Schecter`s locking tuners, standard 25-1/2" scale and compound 12"-16" radius wrap up the specs list.
