With the new Banshee Elite series, Schecter aims to offer a line of high-end guitars with their own Custom Shop electronics (thus far, only the passive models have entered the series), extended range options (6, 7, 8-string models available), exclusive tonewood selection (gorgeous flamed maple tops, ebony fingerboards and maple/walnut necks) and recognizable Schecter build quality. Also, the mighty Supercharger pickups (SuperCharger Mach-7 is present in the bridge position of this lefty seven-stringer) have an enormous range of tones and can cover a staggering range of styles mostly due to the coil-splitting ability (everything from soft rock to heavy metal, shred and extreme metal sub-genres is achievable, though when fully engaged, these pickups have a natural tendency towards the brutal side of metal). Neck position is reserved for the Schecter Sustainiac (second generation) which comes with a specialized controls sub-unit (two-way switch toggles it on and off, while the three-way switch selects the modus operandi). Floyd Rose 1500 with stainless steel saddles is featured behind the pickups. In collaboration with the acclaimed Grover locking tuners, it keeps this baritone-scaled (27" scale) Banshee in perfect check. Ebony fingerboard rocks the full set of 24 extra jumbo frets with series standard offset dot inlays.
