Damien Platinum is a new series introduced by Schecter for 2013. It is ranked above the popular Damien Elite range, but it`s still below the highly acclaimed Hellraiser and Blackjack series. Damien Platinum 6 FR is one of four six-stringed models in this series and it comes with pretty much standard pack of appointments, with the exception of the Floyd Rose double locking tremolo bridge. In it`s front Schecter installs the legendary EMG81/85 pickups combo with the standard controls unit to manipulate them. Body of this model is made of mahogany, it`s solid, carved, double-cut and bound in platinum binding. It is paired with a three-piece maple neck with series standard contour in the back. Rosewood fingerboard on the top is equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets with bat inlays. Tuners are made by Grover.
