Black Cherry
Special is a label manufacturers give to the intermediate models, the ones between Customs and Deluxes on one side and Juniors and Xs on the other. These models offer the affordability, while still giving a bit of the upscale flare. Damien Special FR comes with a standard double-cut body made of mahogany back and maple top. Top is carved in classic Schecter fashion and it`s bound in several layers of binding. Black Cherry is the only color option for this Damien and it features gloss finish. It`s equipped with black binding. Double-cut Floyd Rose bridge is installed on the top. In it`s front, there are two EMG humbuckers. Bolt-on maple neck is topped with a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Gothic Cross inlay adorns the 12th fret.

Quality on the one I have is great. A little heavy. Backbreaker! After I set up FR and adjust tension, stays in tune well. Had to adjust the saddles. This is a real player if you can take the weight.
