The mighty Hellcat is among the most popular designs from Schecter, which even found its way into the signature range (Robert Smith being the prime example). The versatile, retro-styled Hellcat is a jack of all trades as well as a master of quite a few of them. The new Hellcat-VI (2018) comes in with a vintage Hellcat body, bolted neck, 30" scale (which puts the Hellcat-VI somewhere in between a baritone and short-scaled bass), and Schecter electronics (USA MonsterTone stack humbuckers). 3-Tone Sunburst and Ivory Pearl options comprise the color palette. Other notable features include a double-cut swamp ash body (w/tortoise pickguard on top), maple neck (C profile, carbon fiber reinforcements), pau ferro fingerboard (22 XJ frets, 12" radius, dot inlays), TOM/stoptail bridge, and Grover tuners.
