Hellraiser series, along with the Blackjack series, forms the top tier in the regular section of the Schecter catalog. This series is separated in several lines, Special, Hellraiser and Hellraiser Extreme. Hellraiser Avenger belongs to the middle one, the standard and regular Hellraiser series. This modern double-cut guitar comes with a solid mahogany body with carved maple top. Black option has plain maple top, while the Black Cherry comes with a quilted maple cap. Both color schemes, however, feature the same, nickel-plated hardware. Bridge section on this model is a simple one, it features alone tune-o-matic bridge. In it`s front, there are EMG 81 in the bridge and 89 in the neck position. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.

I own this guiatr and am very pleased. The EMGs scream and the ultar access neck makes flying over the fretboard a breeze. I have the gloss balck and its a sexy beast!
