This guitar is the most reliable guitar I own. Bought new 5 years ago it requires very little maintenance, and stays in tune.I play it with 11-54 Beefy's drop C and thrash it! The finish is very tough to, just be nice to it after you beat it by keeping it clean and it stays new looking. Schecter Quality, a $300.00 guitar that blows away much more expensive guitars, I know I also have a Dean Dimebag Razorback, thats another story! Top notch all the way, dont tell Schecter but this should be a $500-$600.00 guitar Good balance and feel, the finish is tough, it withstands a lot of abuse!
Nice balanced guitar with great sustain. Stays in tune and is solid as a rock. It's only bad point are the pickups they put in it. I put EMG's in mine and it made a huge difference. The finish is great, and the neck fits into the body with no gaps. The pickup selector toggle switch could have been better quality though. The neck pickup kept cutting out until pulled the switch and cleaned the contacts. For $299 this guitar is a very good value. Better pickups and you have a guitar that even advanced players will appreciate. For an entry level guitar, this thing plays great. The bridge and string through body make for mucho sustain, and with the 24 fret neck, dropped tunings sound very good. I have a lot of guitars and I tend to pick this one up quite often. Mine has the discontinued Electric Blue paint job on it, which makes it stand out.
