SLS V-7 is one of the special edition models made foe 2013. It is one of two V models introduced into the 2013 Special Edition series. It comes with a solid, flat-top body made of mahogany back and flame maple top. This is one of the most common combos for metal-oriented guitars made of two tonewoods. Body is bound in black binding and it features glossy finish. Schecter has assigned only one color scheme to this outstanding V, it is Crimson Red Burst. Hardware on this seven-string beast is plated in black chrome to match the overall theme of this model. Bridge is a tune-o-matic with seven saddles and string-through-body construction.Simple bridge section is combined with a set of seven Schecter`s locking tuners installed in 3+4 arrangement. Pickups installed on this model are Seymour Duncan Blackouts. They`re active and are equipped with two volume and one tone knobs. Pickup switch is a three-way toggle. Set in maple neck is equipped with a very comfortable contour in the back. In combination with ultra access heel, it gives smooth access to the upper frets. 24-fret fingerboard is made of ebony and it`s marked with offset dot inlays.
