Special Edition ATX Solo-7 is a unique model which aims to please players interested in seven-string single-cutaway guitars and powerful, roaring pickups. Special Edition ATX Solo-7 starts off with a solid, single cutaway body made of mahogany. This model is available only in aged black satin color option. The top is carved and bound in multiple layers of aged ivory. The bridge is already well known and tested tune-o-matic with black chrome plating and string-through-body construction. The pickups are Seymour Duncan active blackouts with an extended range for seven strings. The controls of these pickups consist of master tone knob, split volume knobs and a three-way toggle switch. ATX Solo-7 has a three-piece mahogany neck with a slim contour adjusted to support seventh string, set-in joint and ultra access contoured heel. The fingerboard is made of ebony with 24 extra jumbo frets and an Active Symbol inlay at the 12th fret. The scale is 26-1/2" long and tuners are Schecter`s own make. The MSRP for Special Edition ATX Solo-7 is set at $1,199.
