Special Edition Ultra B-17 has a custom graphic on it`s top dedicated to the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, the heavy bomber from the WWII. This Ultra model besides the graphic features standard Ultra appointments such as 22 frets, dual humbucking pickups, three-way toggle switch and tune-o-matic bridge. Special Edition Ultra B-17 starts off with a mahogany made Firebird inspired body. This body features a flat top, and this time it all of the bindings and pickguards are omitted in favor of the graphic. The color of the sides and back is black with gloss finish. The neck on this model is made of three-pieces of mahogany and features a set-in joint. The fingerboard is made of rosewood and it is equipped with 22 extra jumbo frets with a set of stars and bars inlays. The pickups on this model are Seymour Duncan`s active Blackout humbuckers. They are controlled through a simple layout made of master volume, master tone and a three-way toggle switch. The bridge section consists of a tune-o-matic with a stoptail bar. The bridge, as well as all of the other hardware components, is plated in chrome. Schecter tuners and 25-1/2" scale length finish the specs.
