Tommy Victor and the groove metal veterans Prong have been around for almost thirty years dominating the stages around the world and releasing an album after album of pure metal excellence. For 2015, Tommy and Schecter join forces to bring the players and fans around the world the essence of that beastly tone Prong is known for. Simple and stealthy approach to construction and design with a brutal tone is the winning combination. Solid and double-cut body with the classic Devil contour was chosen for its unmatched ergonomics and badass horns. It is entirely made of mahogany and is paired with a set in neck also made of mahogany. Floyd Rose 1500 is installed on top (1500 is replacing the Floyd Rose 1000 bridge so widely used across the Schecter catalog in recent years) and EMG`s 81/85 combo of pickups is featured in its front. Two volume knobs, master tone and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise the simple controls unit. Mahogany neck is fit with a thin C profile in the back and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard on the top. Grover tuners on the Devil series standard headstock, custom 12th fret inlay on the fingerboard and 1-5/8" wide locking string nut wrap the list of major specs.
