V1 Left Handed is practically the same model as V1, except that it`s made for left-handed players. Solid, V-shaped body is slightly asymmetrical and it is made of mahogany. Mahogany is Schecter`s favorite tonewood for upscale models, including the signature lines. In the lower ranks, basswood substitutes it. V1 Left Handed is available only in black with gloss finish and black hardware. The only exception to this all-black rule is the color of pickup covers. EMGs installed on this model come with red covers. The controls unit is a basic one, featuring only the master volume knob and a three-way toggle pickup switch. Neck on this model is set in and made of mahogany. It`s topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.
