Solar Guitars is a young and ambitious brand, founded by Ola Englund of Feared and Six Feet Under fame. Currently, the brand offers four main model series, plus a small line of signature axes. A1.6ET belongs to the Type A series and is the most expensive six-string option at $999. The main features include a solid and double-cut Type A body, set-in neck w/ultra access, 25.5" scale, passive electronics, and modern hardware. Trans White Matte is currently the only available color option (w/matte finish, black hardware, black plastics, and white headstock). Other notable features include a solid swamp ash body, solid maple neck (C profile, smooth finish), 24-fret ebony fingerboard (Solar logo at 12th fret, 13.77" radius, graphite nut), Evertune bridge, and Grover tuners.
