Standard Stratocaster is the basic model of the Standard series made by Squier. This model is the benchmark for all the Squier Strat variants and models. Squier`s standard for the legendary Stratocaster six-stringer is solid, double-cut body made of agathis wood. Maple is also the brand-wide standard tonewood used for necks and fingerboards. Agathis body of this Strat features the same dimensions and contours as Fender`s Strats. Bridge section is equipped with a non-locking tremolo bridge with string-through construction and chrome plating. Pickups are installed in SSS configuration and feature the signature Strat tone and versatility. Standard controls unit is featured along them. Maple neck is equipped with C contour and bolt-on joint. It is topped with a standard 21-fret fingerboard. Rosewood and maple options are available.
